Can multiple myeloma be cured?

A.
There is no cure for multiple myeloma. The aim of treatment is to slow the progress of the disease, and prevent complications. Asymptomatic multiple myelomas (Smoldering Multiple Myeloma) does not require any treatment and is monitored with watchful waiting. Symptomatic multiple myeloma may be managed with medical or interventional management.
