Renal Failure :

Renal failure also known as kidney failure is a medical condition in which the kidneys are unable to filter and excrete the waste products and leading to various complications. Renal failure occurs due to various risk factors like diabetes, hypertension, PCKD (polycystic kidney disease), obstruction to the urine flow etc,. It can be due to an acute renal injury(AKI,sudden onset) or chronic kidney disease(CKD, gradual damage and loss of kidney function) and ESRD ( end stage renal disease). Signs and symptoms of renal failure include weakness,swelling or edema in the body especially in legs and feet, nausea, decrease in urine output, proteinuria (foamy urine), blood in urine etc,. Management is by dialysis and kidney transplant from a donor at the earliest.
