ENT Specialist :
An ENT specialist, also known as an otorhinolaryngologist, deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the ear, nose, and throat. ENT specialists are trained in providing medical and surgical treatment. An ENT specialist is qualified with a graduation in MBBS, followed by post-graduation DNB in ENT or MS in ENT specialization. The disease conditions which will be treated by an ENT specialist will be ear infections, hearing loss, sinus infections, throat infections, vertigo, sleep apnea, cancers in the head & neck, and allergies. An ENT specialist can also provide treatments for ear infections, sinus infections, and throat infections, by providing medical management and surgical management like tonsillectomy, and surgery to the sinus. When there are chronic sinusitis, frequent ear infections, nasal discharge which is discolored, long term ear pain, hearing loss, swallowing difficulty, sore throat, tinnitus (ringing) in ear, nosebleeds, cough, nasal congestion, hoarseness of voice, pain in the head and neck, these symptoms need to be analyzed by an ENT specialist for the diagnosis and treatment.
