Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) formally known as Polycystic ovary disease (PCOD) is a hormonal disorder affecting women. There are several strategies that can be applied to reverse PCOD. It is important to manage the symptoms of PCOD in cases when it leads to abnormal, heavy, long, unpredictable or absent periods, in cases of infertility, Hirsutism or excessive hair on the face, male-pattern baldness and hair thinning and especially weight gain.
