Tremors :
Tremors can be referred to as the involuntary movements, which are called shaky and rhythmic movements of the body. There are various types of tremors, which include action tremors, such as intention tremors, kinetic tremors, postural tremors, essential tremor, physiological tremor, and resting tremor. The tremors can occur due to brain tumors, alcohol withdrawal, alcohol use disorder, certain medications, stroke, metabolic conditions like hypocalcemia, hyperthyroidism, hypomagnesemia, hypoglycemia, and traumatic brain injuries. The diagnosis of tremors can be done with neurological examination, EMG, physical examination, blood tests, urine tests, MRI scan, and CT scan. The treatment for tremors will be based on the type of tremor, which includes medications, physiotherapy, Botox injections, talk therapy, and occupational therapy.
