Anal Fissure:
Anal fissures cause sharp unbearable pain when passing stools and are located in the rectum wall. An anal fissure can be seen as a sentinel tag from the outside. Till the fissure is healed either with pharmacological or surgical intervention, it causes burning sensation while passing urine and stool and a feeling of ripping during a bowel movement. There is constant irritation around the anus and itching. Presence of bright red blood in the stool is one of the classic signs of an anal fissure. In cases without any relief from medicines and dietary changes, Lateral internal sphincterotomy procedure can be performed to improve the symptoms of Anal fissures.
