Anal Fissures
Q.

I am feeling a tear in my anal region and feeling uncomfortable. I had a similar issue last month as well. What should I do? Can you please suggest how to cure it permanently?

A.

It seems to be you are having fissure in ano, since it’s a month it might be chronic fissure, if fissure alone can be treated with medication, after per rectal examination I can advise proper treatment.

Anal Fissures
Q.

I'm having trouble with an anal fissure. According to the expert, the only treatment is surgery. I'm not interested in having surgery. Can somebody suggest medication, diet, or home cures to help me recover?

A.

Firstly, we need to understand whether the fissure is acute or chronic. In some cases, it can be treated conservatively with medicines like laxatives and a high-fiber diet. If it is not resolved even after 10-15 days, then we need to go for surgery.
