Ear Wax :
Earwax, also known as cerumen, is a product of the glands in the ear canal which is made to protect the ears. Earwax catches dust, debris, and small particles preventing them from passing towards the eardrum and it even has antibacterial properties that it uses to protect the ear from infections. Generally, it will dry up and fall or get washed away if the process of earwax flowing into the outer ear takes place. But in some cases, it might accumulate too much and cause a blockage in the ear. The blockage may occur either because of overproduction of earwax or the wax being drier and harder. Possible signs of an earwax blockage include pain, hearing loss, ringing in the ear or a feeling that the ear is full. Earwax, most of the time does not have to be removed, and if it becomes uncomfortable, a doctor can easily remove it by using certain. One should not try to get the objects like cotton swabs into the ear because it may push the wax deep inside, leading to blocked ears or even injury.
