Migraine :
Migraine can be described as severe headaches which is throbbing and sharp in pain. Usually, migraine headaches will become worse with physical activity, loud noises, bright lights and strong odors. There are various types of migraines, like migraine without aura, migraine with aura, which is called classic migraine, other types are chronic migraine, migraine in children called abdominal migraine, menstrual migraine, hemiplegic migraine, retinal migraine and migraine without headache. The symptoms that are noticed in migraine are trouble in sleeping, mood changes, nausea, fatigue, frequent urination, increase thirst and hunger, muscle weakness, ringing in ear, numbness, muscle weakness, vision changes, speaking difficulties, difficulty in concentration, sensitivity to touch, stiff neck, nausea, dizziness. Diagnosis of migraine is made with physical examination, blood tests, CT scan, MRI scan, and electroencephalogram (EEG). Migraine can be treated with medications and by avoiding trigger factors.
