Migraine
Q.

I'm Prakash Roy 45 years old has been suffering from severe headache since last 30 years and have consulted several times but the headache remain same till date.

A.

Migraine headache is a chronic problem. Sometimes there may be fluctuations. Sleep should be proper, adequate fluid intake, avoid exertion. If persistent complaints need brain imaging. Consult a neurologist if the problem is severe. Some oral medicines are effective in preventing recurrent attacks. If not responding to oral medications, some injections (more costly) can be tried, which are found to be effective in pts with recurrent headaches.
