UTI :
UTI is called a urinary tract infection. UTI will affect any part of the urinary system, like the urinary bladder, ureters, urethra, and kidneys. Women are at increased risk of urinary tract infections. The symptoms that are seen in urinary tract infection will be a burning sensation while urinating, cloudy urine, pain in the pelvis region, passing a small amount of urine, frequent urination, blood in urine, and a strong smell of urine. When the infection reaches the kidneys, it will cause back pain, high fever, chills, vomiting, and nausea. The major cause of urinary tract infection will be bacteria that move from the urethra to the urinary bladder. The diagnosis of urinary tract infections is based on the culture of urine, urinalysis, and other tests, such as an ultrasound scan, a CT scan, an MRI scan, and a cystoscopy. The treatment advised for urinary tract infection will be through antibiotic medication and treating the symptoms. The preventive measures will include wiping from front to back, consuming cranberry juice, avoiding irritating products in the genital area, and emptying the bladder after sex.
