Swelling in feet :
Swelling in feet is often caused by fluid build up in the ankles, feet and legs and this condition is called as edema. Many factors cause swelling in legs including injury, infection, blood clot, obesity, pregnancy, standing or sitting for prolonged hours. Additionally this condition is also caused due to serious underlying problems such as heart, liver and kidney diseases. Swelling in legs resolves with time, unless associated with an underlying problems which requires appropriate medical intervention.
