Fertility Treatment :
Fertility treatment can be described as the treatment that is involved in the management of infertility in couples who are having trouble conceiving a pregnancy. Fertility treatment can be performed in various methods depending on the cause of infertility. There are common fertility treatments, such as medications used for the stimulation of ovulation and the induction of hormonal therapy. There are surgical treatments also available when there is any abnormality in the fallopian tubes, or by the removal of fibroids, in women. In case of men, surgical treatment will be done when varicoceles are diagnosed and which will hinder the chances of getting impregnated. The major fertility treatments used are assisted reproductive technologies (ART) involving intrauterine insemination (IUI), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and in vitro fertilization (IVF). The other ART procedures can be gestational surrogacy, cryopreservation, also known as freezing of sperm, eggs, and embryos, and treating with donated sperm and eggs. There are some diagnostic tests to be done before planning treatment for the detection of the underlying cause of the infertility.
