Diaper Rash :
Diaper rash, also termed as diaper dermatitis, is a rash that is observed in the baby's diaper area such as buttocks, thighs or genitals. Diaper rashes are categorized into several types, namely, allergic reaction diaper rash, irritant diaper rash, candida diaper rash and bacterial diaper rash. Diaper rashes appear as reddened skin around the genitals, thighs and buttocks and area with a diaper rash looks warm to touch. Pain and swelling around these diaper rashes are also experienced due to diaper rashes. Diaper rashes occur when the urine or stool touches the baby's skin for a long duration, and due to moisture in the baby's diaper area, chafing or rubbing in the diaper area, bacterial infection, yeast infection, allergic reaction to diaper material and food allergies. To manage these diaper rashes, the area exposed has to maintained dry and clean as possible.
