Gynaecologist & Obstetrician :
A gynecologist and obstetrician is a doctor specialized in women's health related to their reproductive life, pregnancy, and child birth time. The disorders or complications associated with the female's reproductive system treated by a gynecologist are disorders during menses, hormonal diseases, barrenness, and menopause. Also, a gynecologist diagnoses and cures diseases related to the uterus, ovaries, and the breasts. There are routine tests of Pap smear, pelvic examination, and breast examination for diagnosis. These check-ups monitor the health status and prevent serious cases. An obstetrician is a specialist in health care for women who will eventually give birth and provides healthcare before, during, and after delivery of a baby. An obstetrician is consulted for all cases of pregnancy, from a prenatal check-up right through to observing the development of the baby in the womb and delivering complicated childbirths. Ensuring safe delivery is necessary as they help in the process of recovery after child birth. The obstetrician first does his MBBS and Master of Surgery (MS) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) in obstetrics and gynecology. They ensure general health and well being for women during visitation, reproductive healthcare being undertaken, and pregnant women are properly managed.
