Watery Eyes :
When many tears (water droplets) come out of the eyes, it is said that the individual has watery eyes. Watery eyes can occur when an individual is affected by an eye infection, has a blocked tear duct, develops conjunctivitis or scrapes the eye. Inward growing eyelashes, allergies, exposure to light, smoke and chemicals can also cause watery eyes.
An ophthalmologist can diagnose watery eyes by performing an eye exam. The specialist may put special eye drops into the eyes to check the eyes. In some cases, tests like a CT scan and an X-ray may also be required. In some cases, the eye doctor may refer the patient to an ENT if they suspect the problem is in the sinuses or tear ducts. The eyes usually stop watering on their own, and treatment is not required. However, in some cases, an ophthalmologist may treat the patient by removing foreign objects from the eyes, prescribing medications or repairing the eyes.Found 87 Doctors for Watery Eyes Treatment in Indore
