Malaria
Malaria is a protozoal infection caused by Plasmodium throgh the mosquito bite. The symptoms of malaria include Fever associated with chills , sweating, head ache, fatigue , body pains etc. In few patients the spleen will get enlarged . Diagnosis is by clinical examination and laboratory tests for malaria parasite. Early detection will offer complte cure . Complications of malaria are cerebral malaria, Acute renal failure, Pulmonary edema, Liver disturbances etc. The treatment is with antimalarial drugs.
