Visited for: Medical Assistance for Normal Delivery of my Baby
A Heartfelt Thank You to Dr. Udita Mukherjee – Our Guardian Angel! After my wife’s first delivery by C-section (due to umbilical cord around the neck and low water level) and three heartbreaking miscarriages at other hospitals in Hyderabad, we were filled with fear and anxiety. We had faced improper consultation and lacked the right guidance elsewhere. But when we met Dr. Udita Mukherjee, everything changed — she truly restored our hope. From day one, she was extremely friendly, patient, and understanding. She took time to listen to all our concerns, explained every step clearly, and always treated us like family rather than just patients. At around 36 weeks, my wife wasn’t getting labor pains, and her cervix was only 1.5 cm dilated. We had almost lost hope for a normal delivery. That’s when Dr. Udita gently guided us about TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Cesarean) and assured us that she would take every single step carefully waiting as long as it took without putting the mother or baby at any risk. She told us, “C-section will be our very last option; we will try everything possible for a normal delivery, but I need your trust and support.” Her words gave us the courage to stay positive and patient. She was constantly monitoring, guiding, and supporting us through the entire process — even during late hours. In the labor room, her motivation, positivity, and personal involvement made all the difference. She gave my wife the strength to endure the pain and stay calm, turning what we thought was impossible into a miracle. Finally, after all the challenges, our baby girl was born safely through a normal delivery — and it was only because of Dr. Udita’s expertise, patience, and emotional support. Dr. Udita Mukherjee is not just a brilliant doctor; she is a compassionate human being who truly cares for her patients. We will be forever grateful to her and the entire team at Rainbow Hospitals. Dr. Kalyan Chakravarthy Konda is an incredible Pediatrician/Neonatologist in Hyderabad who exemplifies both expertise and compassion. From the moment we met Dr. Kalyan Chakravarthy Konda, he created a welcoming and comforting environment. Now coming to my wife scenario she got admitted to hospital during her 33 weeks only on 31st May. Due to some complications the gynecologist decided to go with the delivery on 3rd June which is 33 weeks 4 days. Let me share our experience with him. We have been blessed with a premature baby boy under his supervision.Before delivery only he explained to me all the processes he is going to take care of post delivery. He makes me so much comfortable in that tense situation too. His behavior was like a family rather than a doctor. He is very calm, polite and always with a smiley face and makes us understand the scenario and how they are going to handle it. Post delivery immediately my baby was admitted to the NICU. As parents, my wife and I were a little worried about the growth of the child. But the counselling given by Dr. Kalyan gave us a lot of confidence and strength . My baby was in the NICU for 4 days under his observation and later he was shifted to room. Later the whole focus has been shifted to how the baby was tolerating the feeds. Dr. Kalyan insisted on feeding mothers milk as mother milk is more precious than donor milk. He has increased the milk volume dosage slowly based on the toleration from the baby's end. He and his total NICU team constantly monitor the baby's vitals, weight every day, and height every week to avoid any issues during the whole course. Being a doctor, he not only believes in technology and medicine.Later, we were in the room for 3 days and he was on duty over the weekend too and ensured the vaccinations were given on time. Finally, after 7 days of doctor efforts, treatment & patience, we got approval to discharge the baby. Now, our baby is in his 36th week and is stable. We had a smile on our faces and happiness in our discharge from the hospital and taking care of our baby at our home. It's all because of Dr. Kalyan. Also During our regular checkups he is very much supportive and always the correct path. I would also like to thank the NICU whole team and especially Nurse Ranjitha .She took care of my baby well.He is an expert in dealing with such Preterm cases on a daily basis. I saw him a couple of times working 24/7 even during weekends .We highly recommend people to visit Dr. Kalyan Chakravarthy Konda at Rainbow Hospital NanaKramguda Branch.
