Hydrocele:
A hydrocele is defined as a pain less inflammation caused due to the accumulation of fluids around the scrotum. Hydroceles can occur at any age but more often seen in new borns. This condition is characterized by painless, round swelling around the scrotum. Hydroceles are divided into three types depending on its development in the body such as non communicating hydrocele, communicating hydrocele and Nuck’s hydrocele( rare type). This condition being harmless in most of the individuals, it does not require any treatment unless any discomfort or infection is noticed, while needle aspiration and hydrocelectomy are the preferred treatment options in individuals requiring treatment.
