Contact lens are used mostly for correction of refractive errors for which they provide optical correction than glasses as well as for management of diseases of the cornea or eye lids.Coloured contact lens are being used increasingly for cosmesis.Major risk from contact lens wear is bacterial, fungal which are most common with soft lenses particularly extended wear.
