Premature Ejaculation :
Premature ejaculation is a type of ejaculation disorder that occurs when a person orgasms sooner than they would like to. It happens shortly or before the penetration during intercourse and is almost seen in 30% to 40% of people. It mainly occurs due to nervousness about being with a new partner, over-excitedness, anxiousness about having sex, stress, a history of sexual abuse, depressive thoughts, feeling overwhelmed or guilty, and lack of confidence. Physical and chemical causes include erectile dysfunction, low serotonin levels, a penis that is extra sensitive to stimulation, and inflamed prostate. Healthcare organizations consider premature ejaculation if it occurs sooner than they or their partner desires, if it causes distress to one or both partners, if it happens within one minute of penetration, and if it has been occurring for more than six months to one year.
