Imperforate anus :
Imperforate anus is a congenital malformation of intestinal obstruction. Manifest often as failure to pass meconium after 24hrs of birth. In males imperforate anus is high malformation with a recto-urethral fistula followed by perineal and rectovesical forms. In females its low malformation recto-vestibular fistula followed by perineal fistula with persistent cloaca. symptoms of imperforate anus is vomiting, swollen belly area, stool passes out of vagina base of the penis. To diagnose Imperforate anus requires physical examination, abdominal x-ray (Invertogram). Treatment often includes surgery and other procedures.
