Hypospadias :
Hypospadias is a congenital condition in which the urethral opening is the underside of the penis instead of the tip. It is mainly caused by changes in the cell's DNA that develop during the eighth pregnancy. Symptoms include peeing in a spray-like stream to the sides but not in a straight stream, irritation and discomfort of the surrounding tissue, underdeveloped foreskin, congenital curved penis, and undescended testicles. Factors that influence hypospadias are body mass index, advanced maternal age, use of progesterone in fertility treatments, hormones during pregnancy, pesticide exposure, and smoking while pregnant. Hypospadias can be repaired by performing surgery between six to twelve months old.
