A paediatric neurologist is a specialist doctor who will provide diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions in children. A paediatric neurologist is qualified with a graduation in MBBS , followed by post-graduation in MD or DNB in paediatrics. Then, further, they will possess DM in pediatric neurology. A paediatric neurologist is well-trained in managing several conditions such as developmental delays, epilepsy, headaches, autism spectrum disorder, migraines, sleep disorders, stroke, Tourette's syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cerebral palsy, congenital malformations, traumatic brain injury, and genetic conditions. When there are symptoms such as frequent headaches, seizures (fits), neurological birth defects, developmental delays, sleep disturbances, speech difficulties, chronic unexplained pain, hearing problems, balance problems, vision problems, numbness, loss of consciousness, weakness, tingling sensations, the child should be checked with a paediatric neurologist for diagnosis and treatment.
