Fatty Liver :
Fatty liver, as the name suggests is a liver condition, where there is excess amount of fat buildup in liver. This condition is also known as hepatic staetosis, and often presents in two main times namely Metabolic dysfunction associated staetotic liver disease also known as the non - alcoholic liver diseases and alcoholic associated liver disease.
Obesity, elevated triglycerides, overweight, and alcohol abuse may lead to fatty liver. It is considered to be normal for the liver to hold in some amount of fat, but if the total fat percentage accounts for more than 10 per cent of the liver's weight, then it is considered as a fatty liver. Unfortunately there is no definitive cure for this condition, while certain preventive factors such as maintaining a healthy weight, reducing the intake of alcohol, consuming adequate diet, and managing sugar levels may serve to manage the condition.
