Ejaculation Disorders :
An ejaculation disorder is a condition that affects the penis in males. A male affected by an ejaculation disorder may ejaculate (release sperm) earlier or later than normal. In some cases, a male may have a disorder in which the sperm does not come out of the penis but goes backwards into the bladder.
The diagnosis of an ejaculation disorder may involve urine tests, blood tests, ultrasound scans and other tests. The underlying cause of ejaculation disorders can vary from psychological factors to conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and spinal cord injuries. The treatment of these conditions may involve lifestyle changes, diet changes, psychotherapy or medications. A doctor may also recommend kegel exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, depending on the type of ejaculation disorder. Many patients recover from ejaculation disorders within some months of treatment.
