Breast Implant :
A breast implant is a man-made breast that can be inserted inside a female's chest surgically. Breast implants are of two varieties: saline implants and silicone implants. Saline implants are made of silicone shells but are filled with saline water. In contrast, both the shell and inner filled are made out of silicone in silicone implants.
A plastic surgeon may suggest getting a breast implant if a female's breasts become smaller because of weight loss, aging or pregnancy. Breast implants may also be used to replace the breasts if they are removed as a breast cancer treatment. In some cases, breast implants are used to make the breasts symmetrical. Breast implants pose some risks such as hardening of the implants over many years of use. In some cases, the implants can cause the development of large cell lymphoma. The implants can also reduce the amount of breast milk that is secreted during breastfeeding.
