When the blood cells get affected by cancer, it is called blood cancer. It may be of three types i.e. leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Blood cancer occurs as a result of mutations that occur within the blood cells. Some of the common symtoms associated with blood cancer include unexplained weight loss, shortness of breath, brusing and bleeding that takes place without any reason, fatigue, paleness of the skin under the lower eyelid, etc.
Blood cancer treatment may comprise of a combination of chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and stem cell transplants.
