Liver failure can either be acute meaning sudden or chronic as in gradual occurance of liver failure.This condition can occur as a result of overuse of certain drugs,herbal supplements,viral infections,certain immune diseases,viral infections such as Hepatitis C,alcohol abuse,and non fatty liver diseases.
