Physiotherapist :
A physiotherapist will be a specialised and trained professional who will treat people to improve movement and function. They will be qualified to treat and rehabilitate in movement and functioning after injury or any illness. A physiotherapist is qualified with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), followed by a Master of Physiotherapy (MPT). A physiotherapist will treat many conditions like sprains, fractures and dislocations of bones, tears of muscles, back pain, neck pain, headache, sciatica pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, lymphedema, post-surgical rehabilitation after surgeries to repair ligaments, trigger finger, sports injuries. Also, physiotherapy will help to manage the symptoms of parkinson's disease and improve mobility, help with mobility and balance in case of multiple sclerosis. The symptoms that are addressed by a physiotherapist will be pain for a long duration, joint stiffness, movement difficulties, loss of balance, physiotherapy for sports injuries, and coverage from orthopaedic surgeries.
