Stretch Marks :

Striae also known as stretch marks is a kind of intended streaks or scarring on the skin bearing a off hue colour. It is the most common issue experienced by almost 90% of the population. Stretch marks can appear anywhere on the body, but they are most commonly seen on stomach, buttocks, upper arm, breasts, thighs and shoulders.

They occur as a result of stretching of the skin. Although any one get stretch marks, some of the risk factors are being a female, pregnancy, using corticosteroids, rapid gaining or loosing weight, breast enlargement procedure, and exercising can increase the risk to acquire them. There is no permanent cure for these marks, however they can only diminish or lighten with time.
