Imperforate Anus :

Imperforate Anus is also known as Anorectal malformation where the anus does not come out in a normal location / missing/ may be connected to the urinary tract leading to urinary tract infection. .It is mostly seen in the children. The anus might be close to the vagina in the girls and it may be near to the scrotum in boys.his generally happens when the anus , rectum and other organs do not develop properly during pregnancy.This affects the Childs ability to have proper bowel movement.Investigations generally suggested for babies in imperforate anus would be invertogram and urine culture . Surgical treatment would be the choice of treatment for anorectal malformation or imperforate anus.
