Liver is a vital organ located under the ribcage on the right side of the abdomen carrying out various important functions related to metabolism, energy storage, and waste filtering. Although liver diseases differ in detail, they often have features in common associated with symptoms such as yellowish dis colouration of the skin, pale body, black stools,blood in stools,loss of appetite,bruising easily,constant tiredness, and enlarged stomach.There are many kinds of liver diseases and conditions, while some of the most common ones are Hepatitis, Fascioliasis, Alcoholic liver disease,fatty liver disease,Gilbert's syndrome, Cirrhosis, primary liver cancer, and primary sclerosing cholangitis. Long term use of alcohol, genetics,cancerous growths,immune system conditions and infections are some of the common causes of liver disease.
