Haemodialysis :
Haemodialysis is one of the types of dialysis used in the treatment for kidney disease. Haemodialysis helps to filter the blood from waste products such as urea, creatinine and other acids. During the procedure of haemodialysis, blood is flowed through the tiny tubes with mesh present inside the dialyzer. Waste products in the blood are filtered through this mesh. Then the filtered blood is returned back to the body. There are two types of haemodialysis such as in-center haemodialysis and home haemodialysis. In home haemodialysis, there three more types such as short daily haemodialysis, conventional home haemodialysis, and nocturnal home haemodialysis. Haemodialysis is indicated in patients with late stage kidney diseases, kidney failure, and who are waiting for a kidney transplant. The major benefit of haemodialysis is, it replaces the work of failed kidneys by separating the toxic products from the blood.
