ADHD :
ADHD can be described as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder, and it presents as a lack of attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. There are four types of ADHD, which include hyperactive-impulsive ADHD, inattentive ADHD, combined ADHD, and unspecified presentation. ADHD can occur due to genetic reasons. The symptoms that can be experienced in case of ADHD can be hyperactivity, such as restlessness, excessive movement, talking more, inattention symptoms such as difficulty in staying focused, organizing tasks, difficulty paying attention, difficulty waiting for their turn, impulsivity symptoms includes interrupting others, acting without thinking. The diagnosis of ADHD can be done through an ADHD assessment called DSM-5-TR. The treatment of ADHD can be done by parent training in which the therapists trains the parents to deal with their child, social skill training programs, and medications to improve the child's ability to focus attention. Behavioral therapies can help the child in order to control the symptoms of ADHD.
