Becoming a geriatric physician requires a bachelor's degree from medical school, postgraduation, and three years of residency training followed by a fellowship. They diagnose and treat conditions like arthritis, Alzheimer's disease, balance issues, cancer, dementia, diabetes, depression, frailty, heart disease, incontinence, insomnia, and osteoporosis.
