Hi... get yourself evaluated for fibroids. Fibroids generally will not cause scanty periods. Get a scan done to check for your endometrium. If you are approaching menopause, then scanty periods are okay.

Hi.. melting your fibroid actually depends on the size of your fibroid. You can try medicines for 3 months, see how much the fibroid has reduced, and proceed further.
