My friend suffered a torn ligament in his left leg as a result of the accident. While walking, he feels lots of discomfort. The doctor suggested surgery as a required. After surgery, my friend doesn't know if he'll be able to walk without issue. How long should he recover from surgery?

A.

ACL or PCL Arthroscopic Surgery recovers in a period of 6 weeks with the help of Physiotherapy. and yes there is some discomfort for a few days but it will gradually decrease through physiotherapy exercises: (from day 1 to 2 weeks partial weight bearing, from the 14th day to week we can add weight bearing 75%, from the 6th week you can do complete weight bearing, it will take time 1year for running and vigorous dance ).
