Arthroscopy Specialist :
An Arthroscopy specialist is a doctor who manages Ligamnet problems by minimally invasive procedure called arthroscopy. In this procedure, a little cut is made at the area of the joint and through this cut, a small tube with a camera and light attached which is called an arthroscope is inserted. The interior of the joint is then seen on the monitor by the doctor by using the arthroscope so that they can diagnose and treat the problem without making large incisions. Arthroscopy is highly used in treating joints at knee, shoulder, hip, or wrist where it can help treating tears in ligaments, cartilage damage, or inflamed tissue. An arthroscopy specialist is generally an orthopedic surgeon who is well versed in doing such procedures. After completing their graduation in MBBS and then they pursue a Master of Surgery in Orthopedics or the Diploma of National Board in Orthopedics. Then, they undergo specialized training in arthroscopic procedures which might 6 months to two years. Arthroscopy specialists help the patients to recover faster, with arthroscopy so as the patients can feel lesser pain, and have less scarring as compared to traditional open surgeries.
