Sinus Surgery :
In Sinus Surgery, there are various sinus surgeries. However, one is particularly called FESS also known as functional endoscopic sinus surgery. In FESS, blockages and obstructions in the nasal passage and sinuses are visually removed by means of an endoscope. General anesthesia is generally used. The time consumed can range anywhere from an hour up to three hours or more, depending upon the condition. This ranges from after post-operative care, including pain management; continuing medication in the regimen, ensuring nasal passages stay moist. Most patients can experience much-needed relief from their symptoms once recovery is complete, hence providing them with enhanced quality of life.
