The newborn baby boy can be treated through the religious practice or even as a culture or a medical practice. In many cultures, it is considered an initiation rite, or even a spiritual activity. Medical Advice
Prevent Urinary tract infections, Sexually transmitted disease, among others, or some other conditions such as phimosis whereby the foreskin sticks together and cannot be retracted.
The procedure is often very well tolerated with little discomfort for infants and can be performed in a hospital or clinic setting. Local anesthetic is usually applied in the area with healing normally taking from 7 to 10 days. Usually, in most instances after the surgery there is minimal swelling and redness accompanied with some tenderness that may eventually fade away. Proper hygiene and care over wounds will prevent infections from arising. Oral drugs will help a patient overcome aches and pains. Circumcision is generally a harmless procedure.
