Anger management :
Anger management is how a person handles a situation that usually makes them angry. It is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy in a group or one-on-one counseling. Anger is an emotional reaction that stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, heart rate, and breathing speed. Chronic anger can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, headaches, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, eczema, and psoriasis. Anger management is needed in conditions like hyperactivity disorder, attention deficit, borderline personality disorder, depression, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. Anger management includes behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques like meditation, yoga, breathing exercises, medications for depression, anxiety, and ADHD, support groups, anger management classes, and exercises.
