Squint :

A squint is also called as strabismus, is a medical condition in which the eyes do not align properly, causing one or both the yes pointing in different directions. This misalignment can be intermittent or constant and may occur in different directions such as horizontal,vertical or diagonal. Squints may vary in severity and can present from birth ( congenital defect) or may develop later in adulthood. This medical condition can be classified into different types based on the direction of the eye namely esotropia, exotropia, Hypertropia, and hypotropia. Squints can be caused due to various reasons including problems with vision development, conditions or disease affecting the eye muscle and nerves controlling the muscles. Treatment may include glasses, eye exercises and surgery depending on the severity of the and type of specific condition.
