Hysteroscopy :
They are Diagnostic hysteroscopy and operative hysteroscopy . Diagnostic Hysteroscopy is used to diagnoses many uterine problems like uterine wall thickness , infertility , polyps , Fibroids , abnormal uterine bleeding and missed IUD. Operative Hysteroscopy is used to treat conditions like removing polyps , for endometrial biopsies , removal of IUD. Hysteroscopy is avoided during infections , pregnancies ,cervical cancers .Hysteroscopy can be done under local or general anesthesia based on the circumstances. Side effects of hysteroscopy are headache , dizziness , nausea , abdominal pain .Most common complications for hysteroscopy is infection ,bleeding and perforation , neurological symptoms .
