VSD surgery :

Ventricular septal defect is a hole in the septum that separates between the two ventricles. It is amajor surgery and done by Cardiothorasic surgeons along with his team of doctors . It is done in patients having large VSD suffering with symptoms. The patient may need to stay for a week in the hospital. The complications of the procedure can be Bleeding , infection, heart rhythm changes, Heart block, Anaesthesia complications etc. In majority of the patients the long term results are good.
