Hearing Aids are electronic devices that are battery-powered, placed in or behind the ear, and are used to amplify sounds, which is helpful for people with hearing loss in improving their speech and hearing ability. A hearing aids consists of three parts, namely, a microphone, an amplifier, and a speaker. Hearing aid is advised for people with sensorineural hearing loss. Hearing aid help a person hear better in different environments, improve communication skills, improve comprehension while listening, give more independence, and reduce tinnitus. The drawbacks of using hearing aids are they are expensive, take a lot of time to get habituated, and the voice seems too loud in the initial days of using new hearing aids. Hearing aids can be maintained well by cleaning them exactly as directed, keeping them away from extreme temperatures, moisture, pets, and children, and avoiding using personal care products like hairspray while wearing the hearing aid.
