Brain Aneurysm also called as intracranial or cerebral aneurysm is referred to the ballooning or bulging of the blood vessel caused due to a compromised area in the brain, an aneurysm may have the tendency to rupture and bleed into the surrounding spaces of the brain resulting in internal bleeding and stroke.
Majority of the individuals with brain aneurysms are asymptomatic until it ruptures, while symptoms of an unruptured aneurysm includes vision changes, eye pain, headache and decreased eye movements etc. Hypertension and smoking are considered to be the major risk factors of this condition.
