He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Internal Medicine from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and his Doctorate of Medicine (DM) from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore.
