Dr. Apoorva Kulkarni

Dr. Apoorva Kulkarni is a highly skilled radiation oncologist. Her expertise lies in various areas of radiation oncology, such as Brachytherapy, 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SRT, VMAT (RapidArc), APBI in Breast Cancer Patients, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), PET-based Radiation Contouring and Planning, Image-based Brachytherapy for Gynecological Cancers, Organ Preserving Radiotherapy, Adaptive Radiotherapy, and Total Body Irradiation (TBI).

Besides being a radiation oncologist, Dr. Apoorva Kulkarni is also a medical researcher and educator for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. She advocates for a comprehensive approach to cancer patient care, including clinical, psychological, and supportive aspects. With her expertise in managing cancer patients, particularly in Gynecologic Oncology, Breast Cancer, and Brain malignancies, she has gained valuable experience. Dr. Apoorva Kulkarni completed her MBBS from BLDEA’s Shree BM Patil Medical College in Bijapur and her DNB (Radiotherapy) from the Inlaks and Budhrani Hospital in Pune.
