Chemotherapy :
Chemotherapy is a treatment for cancer. It involves intravenous or oral medications that eliminate cancer cells from the body. The medication is of many different types, and all the types stop the cancer cells from reproducing. Cancer patients can be treated with only one type of medication or a combination of various medications. The treatment is typically spread out over many months and involves several sessions. Chemotherapy medicines also kill the body's healthy cells and cause some unpleasant side effects such as hair loss, tiredness, diarrhea, and more. Usually, the goal of chemotherapy is to cure the cancer. However, some doctors also use it to make other treatments more effective. Chemotherapy may also be utilized to reduce the risk of recurrence or to relieve the symptoms if a cure is not possible.
